The Attorney General’s Office investigates a group of officials assigned to the That San Vicente de Arauca hospital and the special administrative unit of Arauca (UAESA) for an alleged improper use of the ambulance plane of the department.
According to the Public Ministry, «the aircraft destined to transfer patients in Arauca Towards other institutions of median and high complexity of the country would be used by third parties and for other purposes other than the signed agreements ».
The control agency ordered the collection of contractual documents, flight records and operation certifications, in order to collect evidence that allow clarifying the facts and determining the possible disciplinary responsibility of the officials involved.
